How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?We recommend booking your wedding photographer as soon as you have your date and venue secured. This is typically 9-12 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season.

What is included in your wedding photography packages?We design our packages around our clients needs. After our consult and learning more about your day and vision, we then prepare a proposal. Our photography service is priced by the hour at $250. Our packages typically include a pre-wedding consultation, a set number of hours of coverage on the wedding day, a second photographer if needed, high-resolution edited images, and an online gallery. We also offer options for engagement sessions, photo booth, drone, albums, and prints and many other services.

Do you offer engagement sessions?Yes, we offer engagement sessions. These are a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement sessions are often included in our wedding packages or can be booked separately.

How many photos will we receive?The number of photos you receive depends on the length of coverage and the nature of your event. We are a quality over quantity production due to the diligent nature of our photography preparation and execution.

How long does it take to receive our photos?We always strive to get your images to you as quickly as possible while ensuring the highest quality. We offer 2-3 week expedited delivery of your final products and a standard delivery that is within 45 days. We can provide thank you cards of selected images within the 1st and 2nd week of your wedding.

Do you provide retouching services?Yes, all of our delivered photos are edited for color correction, exposure, and cropping. We provide a complete full color collection of high resolution photos and we duplicate those into black and white. Some photos look better in color, some in black and white. We provide both.

Can we provide a shot list or request specific photos?Absolutely! As part of our planning process and collaboration with you, we encourage you to share any specific requests or must-have shots with us. We will work with you to ensure we capture all the important moments and details you want.

Do you travel for destination weddings?Yes, we love traveling for destination weddings! We include travel costs in our package and we are happy to discuss the details and work out a package that suits your needs.

What if it rains on our wedding day?We always have a backup plan for bad weather. Whether it’s finding beautiful indoor locations or providing rain-friendly solutions, we ensure your photos will be stunning no matter the weather.

How do we book you as our wedding photographer?To book us, please contact us to check our availability. Once we confirm that we are available on your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a deposit to secure your booking. View the process of working with us.

Do you offer payment plans?Yes, we understand that weddings can be expensive, so we offer flexible payment plans. We offer many different payment methods. Affirm plan, credit cards, PayPal, gift cards and other forms of payment. We can discuss the details and work out a payment schedule that suits you.

Can we meet you before booking?Of course! We would love to meet with you to discuss your wedding plans and answer any questions you may have. We can schedule an in-person meeting or a video call if the distance is too far.

Do you have insurance?Yes, we are fully insured. This includes liability insurance, which many venues require from wedding photographers.

Will you be the photographer at our wedding?Yes, when you book Chris Pritchard Studios, Chris will be your main photographer. For larger weddings, we may bring an additional photographer to ensure we capture every moment, depending on your vision.

Do you offer videography services?While we specialize in photography, we create an experience that is similar with video. While we don’t make a high value production trailer or documentary movie, we use various camera technologies, such as "live photos", 360 cameras, drone and audio to create short form video for a unique experience. We can recommend trusted videographers for larger movie/documentary productions. We are happy to coordinate with them to provide seamless coverage of your wedding.
